Red Carpet Rundown: Twilight Eclipse

Oh loves its here again!  Time for the Red Carpet Rundown for Twilight’s Eclipse!  I’m totally psyched about the premiere next Thursday at midnight!  For now, let’s focus on what the stars were wearing!!!

Kristen Stewart In a white one sleeve embroidered Elie Saab wool mini

Kristen Stewart

Now last year she wowed. This year ….eeh! She looks cute but not stunning. The dramatic one shoulder white dress makes her look a little pale, and her hair would’ve been prettier down!  But the dramatic low cut back is just the edgy feature that kicked it up.

Nikki Reed In an embroidered sky chiffon Marchesa dress with feather skirt and shoulder detailNikki Reed

Such a pretty girl, such a not pretty dress!? Did she raid Johnny Weir’s closet? Her hair and makeup—stunning!

Dakota Fanning In a beige one shoulder lace Elie Saab cocktail dress with feather hem detail Dakota Fanning

Oh little Dakota, is not so little anymore!  Its hard to believe that this girl is around the same age as Miley!  Dakota ALWAYS dresses appropriate for her age and this little beige number is no exception. Playful with the lace, eye-catching with the one shoulder! And her rosy makeup is so SUMMER!

Ashley Greene In an Alexis Mabille Couture column dressAshley Greene

I love Ashley.  I wish I could look like Ashley, but I do not like this dress on Ashley.  She made a dramatic statement in this long flowy dress with her long hair!  I just wish the dress didn’t look like it was going to swallow her body part by body part.

Anna Kendrick In a gold pleated Marchesa cocktail dressAnna Kendrick

I’m confused about this look.  I really am. On one hand I think she looks beautiful, the gold is super fierce and the hair makeup is sultry.  On the other hand, if you study this dress, its ugly.  An 80’s nightmare.  So just glance, don’t stare!

Bryce Dallas Howard In a lemon-colored Christian Dior dress and Bulgari jewels Bryce Dallas Howard

While I adore this vintage looking dress, and she looks lovely in it, I think it’s a little off for this premiere.  Her red hair however I’m in love!

AnnaLynne McCord In a nude Nicole Miller gownAnnaLynne McCord Kourtney and Kim Kardashian Kourtney, in an animal print knee-length dress; Kim, in a sheer black frock Kourtney&Kim Kardashian

Why was she there? Oh yeah, her and Kellan Lutz are an item.  Nude and light colored dresses were the trend of the evening.  Anna looks pretty, not her usual hot mess self, but still nothing to write home about.  Plus I think the hemline is a little to crazy. More Promy, than Premiere.

Both girls looked pretty in tight fit dresses that covered up for once. I like the slicked back pony/braid too!

Marisa Miller In a sparkling Anna Sui frockMarisa Miller

She looks exactly like the Victoria Secret Angel that she is.   If only I could look like this everyday!  That dress=splendid!

Amber Rose In a gray sweetheart dress Amber Rose

Um, no. Saggy boobs anyone?? Next time some one hand her a bra!

Jennie Garth In a pewter metallic Tadashi Shoji silk dressJennie Garth

Cute, cute, cute! Jennie’s metallic dress and poppy lips are charming!

Jennifer Love Hewitt In a Dolce & Gabbana lace miniJennifer Love Hewitt

Loving the lace dress, the big hair and sexy red lips!  Not loving the thigh high cut hemline.

And last but not least we can’t talk about the movie Eclipse without a picture of Rob, Kristen, and Taylor! Main Starst

*sigh* Next Thursday needs to get here fast! Who wore your favorite look??

Poor Nicole! Someone’s head should roll..

Nicole Kidman at the NYC premiere of Nine“At Tuesday’s red carpet premiere for Nine in Manhattan, Nicole Kidman debuted a questionable new makeup trend: a mess of white powder dotting her eyes and nose!” [US Magazine]

I’m not quite sure how make-up artists prepare their clients for a red carpet. But I would hope they would “test-run” through flashes and different lighting to prepare for the worst.   It sure seems as if someone forgot to even look at Nicole.

Everyone has a bad makeup day every once in a while. But ours don’t happen under the glare of hundreds of flashing bulbs.  And unfortunately the press has torn her apart.  Well, hopefully someone got yelled at for this big mess up. Forget about and move on, honey! You got movies to make and worry about!

P.S. Ladies, always make sure you’ve evened out your powder before you leave!

New Moon-Red Carpet Rundown

About 2 weeks ago, I finally watched Twilight.  And I’ll admit, since then, I’ve watched it 4 or 5 times.   As we all know, New Moon comes out Friday! (w0o-hoo!) And the lovely vamps, werewolves, and humans walked the red carpet on Tuesday.  Here’s the rundown:

I must say Ms. Hot Mess- Kristen Stewart pulled it all together to look quite beautiful for the premiere

Wearing a white tulle strapless gown with chiffon embroidery by Oscar de la Renta and Neil Lane jewelry, she managed to still put a little of herself in their with her messy-in -all-the-right-ways hairdo!  The dress is a little mysterious, a little dark, a little bit Bella! I think she picked perfect!

Nikki Reed looked adorable in a gray/blue bubble-hem Burberry dress. Super cute outfit!  But could have used a little more of a wow factor in my personal opinion.

Why didn’t someone help dress Stephanie Meyer, the author of the Twilight saga! Or at least say hey, maybe we should try something else? Tuesday was her night to shine, and she didn’t.  (sad face!)Her dress accentuates all the wrong places. And that makes me sad.

On the other hand, whoever dressed Dakota Fanning deserves an A+++

The 16 year old, blonde, and blue eyed, beauty looked amazing.  She looks so chic; you almost forget she’s 16! The length, the fit= age appropriate! The black laser cut leather Valentino dress= amazing!  She kept it simple with her hair down/straight and soft neutral makeup, letting her peepers look SUPER blue!  I just want to know how she could walk in those amazing maroon heels! Other Hollywood pop tarts should take notice.  Ms. Fanning did it right!

There’s your red carpet rundown! So now, we all just have to wait until Friday to see New Moon!
