Fashion Crime, who cares?!?

Ok, so at the end of last week, I may or may not have committed a fashion faux pas–and I don’t care.  I’m pretty sure this is what MJ would refer to as a “fashion crime

ist2_8271025-line-upThe Dirty Details:

Last Thursday,  My wonderful BF and I went to a late dinner and the midnight showing of New Moon, I wore a flowy grey/purple/black/yellow patterned tunic with a black ribbon belt, black leggings, and flat grey suede boots.  Perfect for dinner and comfy enough for a late movie!  Well, late is an understatement.  I didn’t get home till 3am and when I got back up at 6:30am.  There wasn’t much debate of what I was going to wear.  I put that top right back on, replaced the leggings for skinny jeans, pulled the boots over and walked out the door!  Now, I knew that whoever I saw Thursday night, I wouldn’t see Friday.   (I did change for Friday evening)

Is this a fashion crime? I mean I didn’t wear it all that long on Thursday, and no one re-saw it on Friday.  Even if it is a crime, I don’t care; I’d probably do it again.

Do you re-wear something if you know someone won’t see you in it twice? Do you wear things 2 days in a row?  Did you see New Moon?

New Moon-Red Carpet Rundown

About 2 weeks ago, I finally watched Twilight.  And I’ll admit, since then, I’ve watched it 4 or 5 times.   As we all know, New Moon comes out Friday! (w0o-hoo!) And the lovely vamps, werewolves, and humans walked the red carpet on Tuesday.  Here’s the rundown:

I must say Ms. Hot Mess- Kristen Stewart pulled it all together to look quite beautiful for the premiere

Wearing a white tulle strapless gown with chiffon embroidery by Oscar de la Renta and Neil Lane jewelry, she managed to still put a little of herself in their with her messy-in -all-the-right-ways hairdo!  The dress is a little mysterious, a little dark, a little bit Bella! I think she picked perfect!

Nikki Reed looked adorable in a gray/blue bubble-hem Burberry dress. Super cute outfit!  But could have used a little more of a wow factor in my personal opinion.

Why didn’t someone help dress Stephanie Meyer, the author of the Twilight saga! Or at least say hey, maybe we should try something else? Tuesday was her night to shine, and she didn’t.  (sad face!)Her dress accentuates all the wrong places. And that makes me sad.

On the other hand, whoever dressed Dakota Fanning deserves an A+++

The 16 year old, blonde, and blue eyed, beauty looked amazing.  She looks so chic; you almost forget she’s 16! The length, the fit= age appropriate! The black laser cut leather Valentino dress= amazing!  She kept it simple with her hair down/straight and soft neutral makeup, letting her peepers look SUPER blue!  I just want to know how she could walk in those amazing maroon heels! Other Hollywood pop tarts should take notice.  Ms. Fanning did it right!

There’s your red carpet rundown! So now, we all just have to wait until Friday to see New Moon!
