Polka Dots, Stripes, Shorts, Oh my!

So I’ve worn some pretty cute outfits lately.  But I have no pictures of them, because of a lot of lame excuses I can make up. None of which you want to hear.  These two lonesome pictures are the only ones I have.  And they were taken on my Iphone.  Blogger FAIL!

We decided to head out for a last minute meal at our fave Mexican restaurant after work. This was three day old curled hair.  For some reason, my curling wand curls last FOREVER!  I love it!  Also, this is the farthest I’ve taken pattern mixing so far.  It wasn’t the smoothest mix but it worked.

I promise I’ll get better soon about taking more pictures……*hopefully*

I’ve got a disease. Shoe Pox

I’ve diagnosed myself. I have a disease that flares occasionally and right now it’s a doozey of a flare.  I’ve got Shoe Pox.  Ok, I made it up.  But it’s bad.  I love shoes.  like LOVE.   I have a collection that I adore, but I always want more.  Usually, I suppress the urge by avoiding stores and looking online.

Right now, I don’t know if it was the amazing shoes I saw at Texas Style Council or the fact that the spring colors are to die for but my shoe lust is at an all time high.  It’s so bad that I threatened joked with my hubbie that if he didn’t watch his new shoes that he got for his birthday that they might disappear and I might get new shoes.  HOW BAD is that?  Of course, it is a joke.  While I can’t stop thinking about shoes, here are a few crazy colorful pairs that have my eye!

Dream House: Swanky Office

I think it is no secret now, but hubbie and I are house hunting. YAY! So of course that means lots and lots of new pins on pinterest.  One of the main things I’m looking for in a house is either a spare room or small space that I can make into an office.  And don’t ask me why, but I am stuck on using Ikea Expedit shelves somewhere in our house.  I’ve found numerous ideas to include them in the office.  Check out some of my favorite dreamiest offices.

This one is my newest and favoritest so far!  I thought I wanted a BIG 4×4 or 6×6 unit but now I’m thinking two 2×4 or 4 1×5 units. Oh the possibilities….

I also like the idea two on either side of the desk…

Now to just find the house and budget to accommodate all my dreams….

Adoring the Hi Lo Hemline

One of the hottest trends this spring/summer is the hi-lo hemline.  It is on shirts, skirts, and dresses galore.

Definition: a garment with a shorter hemline in front that gets longer in the back, like a train.

I’m in love with this trend! I gave in a bought an adorable Lucy Love floral hi/lo skirt.  I also have an adorable white tank from Langford Market at TxSC.  While I can’t wait to wear it, I’m also lusting over some of these hi/lo dresses and skirts.
