Trina Turk’s Fall 1 Look Book is themed on “Come Fly With Me”. All the clothing has a vintage 60′s vibe with a little “air” flair! It might be the prettiest thing I’ve seen in a LONG time! This is what I want my fall wardrobe to look like! I intend to save these photos for fall inspiration and maybe a few diys!! Read my notes* to myself below.

Did you watch the Kentucky Derby? Me either, completely missed it. But I do love to look through the red carpet looks at the pretty dresses and hats. This year was pretty disappointing though. There just weren’t very many good looks! Here are a few to see for yourself:
Nicky Taylor looks perfectly ready for a day at the Derby!
So did “Chilli” from TLC and actress Paula Patton!
Jennifer Tilly just missed the mark completely! The plaid looks like a kilt gone wrong.
Local girl (She’s from about 20 min away from Tyler) Miranda Lambert also missed the mark! Love the cowboy boots! (its a southern thing) But the hat just missed the mark.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minillo looked ready to go the royal wedding more than the Derby. And I wish his tie matched her dress.
Jordin Sparks looks like she’s ready to run errands. Too casual.
What is there to say about Kate Gosselin? Nothing but Wow!

I’ve had to switch body lotion. This transition from winter to spring to summer (yes, summer it was 90 degrees today, *hate*) has been truly rough on my skin. Worse than ever, actually. I don’t know what happened. I’ve applied lotion just like usual every time I shower and double after I have shaved my legs. Last month the dryness was been so bad it has kept me awake at night. The itching was constant. I’d apply lotion then feel greasy AND itchy.
After about 3 nights of battling, I decided to switch to a different lotion. No, not a different scent, a complete different formula. They just weren’t cutting it anymore. Goodbye, lovely scented B&BW lotions!
Time to find a new lotion. So I headed to Ulta to find something. FAIL! I didn’t want to pay over $10 for a good lotion. Walgreens had just what I was looking for…a good collection of options from Jergens, Nivea, Aveeno and Burts Bees. I took a good 20 minutes analyzing and reading the back of bottles.
What I was looking for:
Moisturizing
Light Weight Formula
Fast Absorption
I didn’t need “special skin” formula for revitalizing, skin firming, or tightening. I just wanted lotion!
Enter Nivea Body Smooth Sensation!
It’s been my saviour! It had all the qualities I was looking for. I’ve been using for about 2 weeks, sometimes applying it twice daily! If I feel an itch, Nivea is applied. The “absorbs quickly” claim is the absolute truth! I swear, I think I’m in love with a lotion. And I’m actually loving the fact that it doesn’t have a strong scent. My perfume stands out more!
My lotion change has worked for the best! If you’re considering changing lotion, figure out what you need from it. Look and read the bottles. Knowing what you need will benefit you!
So yesterday afternoon, I watched The Last Song with Miley Cyrus.
This isn’t gonna be a very long review.
1) Dislike Miley’s hair…it looks stringy..err..really like she has some HORRIBLE extensions.
2) For the first hour of the movie, it sounds like she has a lisp. And we all know she doesn’t. Why does it appear then disappear?
3) The little brother is the most charming thing in the movie! He almost stole the show from Liam Hemsworth bare chest..almost.
4) In true Nicholas Sparks fashion, its a love story with a sad and tragic twist. I certainly did not expect the dad to die.
5) It was hard for me to hold the disbelief that “Ronnie” and “Will” were supposed to be 18-ish.. Liam looks about 22 compared to Miley who looked about 15 in it.
6) No matter how old he looks, Liam Hemsworth is H.O.T. Very very very oh and he’s charming in the movie.
Ok just one more….
Its a cute movie but no “A Walk to Remember”. Hopefully, Miley might act a little better in her next movie.

After a little retro music listening this weekend, J and I decided that Britney Spears’ Me Against the Music and Justin Timberlake’s Like I Love You sounded alot alike!! What do you think?
