Dolce Vita Salon

Remember when I said I wanted my hair cut?  Especially bangs?  I took the plunge!  The hardest thing about this haircut was finding a stylist.  The girl I trusted for like 3 years moved…like moved so much that she’s out of state.  So I’ve resorted to just getting trims from random stylists. But for bangs,  I wanted to find some one I could trust and hopefully become my new go to girl!  After about 3 weeks of asking around, good personal recommendations, and seeing others haircuts,  I chose Meagan at Dolce Vita Salon.

Last Thursday, I walked my happy little butt into that salon with a picture of Liz ready for a transformation. The whole salon has a wonderful modern atmosphere.  The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful.

Meagan gave me the best haircut I’ve had in probably 2 years. She trimmed just enough and gave me exactly what I wanted with my bangs! EXACTLY!  Only a great stylist can give you what you want!

This is what they looked like on Sunday! Fantastique!  As the week progressed, bangs weren’t cooperating the way I wanted.  I realized I wanted them a tad shorter. So I called and made another appointment with Meagan.

I went this morning and it took her all of five minutes to trim them about 1/4 inch to perfection.  She was so wonderful to listen and fix it exactly the way I wanted.  I was also able to ask her questions, like “With a cow lick, would I be able to pull of blunt straight across bangs?”  While that answer was, “not without difficulty.”  She gave me answers that I actually trust and were actually relevant for my hair.
