Winter Wedding Inspiration

I’ve got winter wedding reception to attend this Friday! Whoo hoo! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Z!  I’m about 90% of what I’m gonna wear (black and gold), how to do my hair (long waves, maybe bows) , and how to do my makeup (red lips and winged eyeliner).  Here’s what’s inspired me!

Thanksgiving Attire, revisited.

Last week got away from me, and left little time for posting.  SO sorry guys!  And now,I should be writing an awesome post about what to wear for Thanksgiving.  But instead, I’m skipping out and going to see Breaking Dawn for the second time.  (I’m a sucker for these movies)!  C’est La Vie!

So refer back these posts for some great ideas about what to wear for turkey day! All the rules still apply!

Love My Links: Web Randomness

There is no rhyme or reason to this edition of Love my Links. Just fun!

Love Maegan transformed regular black pumps into adorable houndstooth heels! (not for the DIY faint of heart.)

Katy Rose of Modly Chic paired her leopard shirt with flares and red, inspiring a few new outfits for myself!

I found my way back to this awesome scarf dress diy from The Glamourai.  Seems easy enough with a gorgeous result.  Might be a new spring project!

Dash’s Cat Eye Closeup is such a pretty glance at my favorite new makeup trend.  The cat eye!  If only I were brave enough to get that close to my face with my camera.

That’s a few fun links to get you through your day! Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did! Have a lovely Tuesday!

Easy Halloween: That 70′s Girl

It’s just a few days till Halloween! Are you still searching for a costume? Here’s another easy idea!

Farrah Fawcett + Women’s Wardrobe from that 70′s show=

That 70′s Girl

…What You’ll Need

Printed Flowy Top

Flare Jeans

Skinny Belt

Wedges/Platforms

Large Hoop Earrings

You might not have to buy anything for this costume.  If you’ve got one of this season’s biggest trends, flare jeans, you are set for this costume! Tuck your flowy top into your jeans and add a skinny belt. Top with wedges or platforms and big hoop earrings. Curl your hair with outward from your face to get big “farrah” hair! The bigger the better!!  (they also make wigs like this if you have shorter hair.)

Makeup can be pretty much the same as your everyday makeup.  Maybe add false eyelashes and a little more bronzer for that perfect Farrah face.  Voila, you’re ready to trick or treat!

Extra touches:

Tie a silky short scarf around your neck,

Add some large bangles to your wrist.

Tie a piece if thin ribbon or cord around your forehead for a more boho look!

Strike your BEST Charlie’s Angel pose!
