What is this place?

The Fierce Glamour was started in December 2008 as a way for me to channel my passion for everything fashion and beauty related.  To share, advise, learn and love everthing I buy, wear and see is my goal! Since the very start, the blog has been expanded from the blogspot page(which was one of the best starts a blog could have) to its current and fabulous home!

Most of the posts are also featured on Yahoo! Shine, where I was chosen as a Beauty Guru for the Fashion & Beauty channel.  It’s SO fun and makes all the blogging even better! The support from the editors and comments from users make me more determined everyday to bring my readers better content and information! Of course, the editor picks and homepage features are sweet rewards to all the effort!

Michelle, who are you and why do your write?

Great question! I write because fashion and beauty are my chocolate!  I have a 8 to 5 job but I spend 90% of my day thinking about clothes, hair, makeup, accessories, and more. My favorite quote is  “I don’t do fashion, I am fashion.” –Coco Chanel. Though that may not be true,I wanna share all my thoughts, advice, and more for all the world to see! The blog started out as a fun side project, and has now developed into something I would love to do every day for the rest of my life!

I love to experiment with everything hair color, hair styles, fashion, trends, makeup colors, makeup looks.   Practically anything you can think of within reason, I’ll try it!

I listen to news radio in the car and at work, but I go home and watch trashy tv shows like “The Real Housewives” series and VH1, I love to work with my hands and make things even if I get dirty, but I love to dress up and go out even if it takes hours. I’ve gone skydiving(BLUE SKIES!) but I’ll cry on top of  a ferris wheel. I’m a beautiful mix of contradictions.
