He’s a Quarter of a Century Old…but I can’t say much

Saturday, Hubs and I went for an adventure.  An adventure of birthday proportions.  Next week, hubs turns 25.  Neither of us were brilliant enough to schedule a day off so we celebrated last Saturday. I can’t roast him too much about being 1/4 of century old cause I’ll be 25 in May.

We drove about two hours East to Shreveport, LA.

Now what, you ask, is in Shreveport??  Simple answer: Casinos!  Its certainly no Vegas but we can gamble. We spent the day walking around the boardwalk, eating (see below), and gambling.

Romper: Forever 21 (similar)

Belt: (turned backwards) birthday gift from CK from F21

Sandals: Target

Earrings: Forever 21

Sunglasses: 8th Street Boutique

Bracelet: Pandora (gift)

These were taken at the boardwalk. I.E. a collection of outlet shops on the edge of the Red River…behind me on the otherside are the casinos.  This romper made its spring debut and will be worn  ALOT.  Its super comfy and easy to dress up or down. Now, I’m excited to debut HUBS on the blog.  He finally gave me permission to show you his lovely self.

What a better way than is birthday post!

This is Mr. T! (P.S. I just asked him what he wanted to be called on TFG and he said, “Is The Most Wonderful Magnificent Man/Lover too long?”  We’ll just call him Mr. T.

Can you guess where we went for a late lunch?

And took these “Port-A-Pics” Yes, we are still kids at heart!

We haven’t had seafood in a LONG time and were ready to eat!

After eating and gambling, we went to a comedy club where we laughed our abs off.  It was a beyond wonderful day!

These pictures aren’t quite as clear as usual because I had to rely on the old point-n-shoot.  Had been so long, I almost forgot how to use her.  She’s a reliable little thing!

The best way to wrap up this post:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. T!
