Lots of fashion blogs focus on personal style and outfit posts.  I especially love to read …loveMeagan’s blog!  She has great style, pictures, and more.  So I’ve decided to give this outfit post thing a try!  Here we go:

Last monday, we went to a goodbye dinner for a friend.  Of course there wasn’t much time inbetween work and dinner so I threw on my new favorite pieces.  I also tried to mix patterns, which is a totally new thing for me. Matter of fact, this is my first attempt! It probably can’t get much easier than simple black and white stripes and a bold patterned skirt! When I first put it on, I asked the husband what he thought.  He said, “it’s  very, um…pattereny!” Perfect! Mission accomplished!

I love this outfit! The forever 21 skirt reminds me of a 80’s print from a music video.  Paired with the bold shouldered shirt and ribbon/bead necklace made me feel like a rad chick!  The skirt and shirt are from Forever 21 and the black bow wedges are from lulus.com.
